Net Love, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in NJ run by high school students who love tennis and care about the environment.
This is Our Story
Lily Liu is co-founder of Net Love and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Maggie Liu is co-founder of Net Love and Chief Operations Officer (COO).
“Love” in tennis means “zero”, so “Net Love” signifies our commitment to achieving “Net Zero” sustainability through recycling. We aspire to recycle 2 million used tennis balls in the next few years.
We are two sisters who love tennis deeply. Since my sister and I were young, we have been avid tennis players. We are proud to represent New Providence High School as Singles #1 and #2 on the varsity girls’ tennis team. We want to help make tennis a “Net Love” sport to protect our environment.
We believe our generation’s future existence hinges on how much we can reduce our carbon footprint to combat climate change.
We lead a team of high school students who share a passion for tennis and environmental conservation.

Help Improve the environment!
By reusing and repurposing non-degradable used tennis balls, Net Love strives to minimize methane-producing and non-compostable waste created by 125 million used tennis balls dumped every year.
Pollution
Every year 125 million used tennis balls wind up in a landfill.
Waste
Every year used tennis balls generate about 20,000 tons of methane and non-compostable waste. Methane is a greenhouse gas which is 84 times more potent than carbon dioxide.

One tennis ball takes about 400 years to decompose.
