Launched in 2021, the podcast Simple Acts Big Impact: Celebrating Teen Changemakers aims to bring the inspiring stories of remarkable tweens and teenagers making a difference in their communities to a broader audience. Each week, in episodes about 12 – 15 minutes, Natalie Silverstein interviews young volunteers, activists, social entrepreneurs, and nonprofit founders. September 2024 marks the beginning of the podcast’s third season. The podcast has received numerous accolades, including a Webby and a Signal Award, and has been downloaded over 3,000 times.
Natalie Silverstein is an author, consultant, speaker, nonprofit founder and passionate advocate for youth and family service. She is the New York coordinator of Doing Good Together, a nonprofit dedicated to helping parents raise kids who care and contribute. She is the author of two books: Simple Acts: The Busy Family’s Guide to Giving Back and Simple Acts: The Busy Teen’s Guide to Making a Difference.
